Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Job Duties
- Comprehensive specialty training provided to be successful
- Provider skill mix:
5 attendings and 3 APs - Provider primarily performs outpatient consultations and occasionally inpatient consultations
- See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
- Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
- Competitive compensation plus $10k start incentive

ABOUT GEISINGER WYOMING VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER:
(GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds and houses the only Level II trauma center in Luzerne County. The campus includes the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital, the Janet Weis Children's Hospital Pediatric Unit, a transplant program and the Brain & Spine Tumor Institute. Geisinger Wilkes-Barre is GWV's ambulatory campus.
